Decorating, building and external maintenance run through us using trusted trades. Managed by Mendwell rather than carried out in house.
What this covers
Work larger than a maintenance visit, carried out by trades we know and use regularly, with Mendwell handling coordination, quality and communication.
To be clear about what this is: we are not doing the decorating or the building ourselves. We arrange it, we are the single point of contact, and we are answerable for how it goes.

- Interior and exterior decorating, room by room or whole house
- Plastering and making good after other work
- Brickwork, re-pointing and small building repairs
- Roofing repairs and flashing work
- Rendering repairs and external painting
- Paths, patios and drives repaired or relaid
- Several trades sequenced in the right order on one property
How we approach it
You deal with us. We brief the trade, agree the standard in advance, and keep you informed at the points where something is actually happening.
The quote shows what is being done and by whom, so you can see where the money goes rather than being handed a single figure.
We check the work as it goes and again at the end, and anything not right is put right before we consider it finished.
What we will tell you honestly
Where a job is better placed with a specialist firm directly, we will tell you and say why, even though that means the work does not come to us.
Anything requiring building regulations approval, structural calculations or a gas or electrical certificate goes to a qualified specialist, and we will not blur that line.
Larger work produces waste. Removal is priced separately and shown on the quote. Where materials come to more than £60 we take a 40% deposit before work starts.
