Our guarantee
Our work is guaranteed for 24 months from the day we finish. If something we did is not right, we come back and put it right at no charge.
What is covered
- Our workmanship: the fitting, the hanging, the fixing and the making good.
- 24 months from the day the work was finished.
- Exterior paintwork, stains and sealants: 12 months. Outdoor finishes are worn by the weather rather than by the workmanship, so they carry a shorter term.
Work we have already done
The 24 months applies to work we have already finished, not only to new jobs. If we worked for you before October 2026, your work is covered for 24 months from the day we finished it.
Products
The guarantee covers what we do, not the product itself. Doors, locks, glass units, panels and other products carry their maker’s own guarantee, whoever supplied them. If a product fails, tell us and we handle the manufacturer claim for you at no charge.
What it does not cover
- Ordinary wear and tear.
- Damage from accidents or misuse.
- Later changes to the work by someone else.
The guarantee sits alongside your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It does not replace them.
How to tell us
Tell us first. We would rather hear about it straight away and put it right than have you live with it.
Call 07472 281 663, email hello@mendwell.co.uk, or use the booking form and say it is a guarantee visit. A photo helps, and your job reference if you have it, but neither is needed.
